St Elizabeth’s provides the opportunity to complete the level 3 qualification in residential childcare, which I completed during the first lockdown, whilst working full time hours and juggling online university. The experience and qualifications I have gained has enabled me to secure a competitive 30 person masters programme in childhood psychological disorders.
I couldn’t be more grateful to the opportunities at St Elizabeth’s and the children who teach me new things each day I work.
St Elizabeth's is a great place to do good and feel good.
The centre provides full and excellent training. I had the opportunity to study and achieve a Level 3 in Residential Childcare tutored on site by an excellent professional team.
What I love most about working here is seeing happiness and pride of achievement in the eyes of our service users and the caring and loving atmosphere which is felt across the whole centre.
The staff are caring and treat my son with respect and compassion. His house is always clean and welcoming; overall, I feel that there is a warm atmosphere towards our son and the other young people living at St Elizabeth’s.
The manager was amazing, so were the staff team and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Overall, I was happy staff were knowledgeable, and a credit to your organisation - they were very helpful!
Leaders and staff know and understand their learners and their needs very well. They use learners’ individual education, health and care plan outcomes effectively in order to plan learning and to ensure that learners receive the most appropriate support for their needs.
